Becoming a Master Plumber

The process of getting a Master Plumber starts in many states by simply going to an apprenticeship program and working as an apprentice with a certified journeyman plumber until the needed number of hours has been completed and the proper licensing test has been taken. After this step, the apprentice can apply for a state license, at which point he or she will become a licensed Master Plumber.
